Our Story

Discover how K Network emerged from the challenges of the pandemic to become a beacon of hope for communities across the Philippines.

People working together on a project.

Our story embodies the silver linings that emerged from the challenges of the pandemic.

K Network was inaugurated at the onset of COVID-19 in 2020 when a group of young Filipino professionals came together with a shared purpose. They brainstormed to devise different activities that would uplift students confined to their homes because of lockdown measures.

K Network began with the launch of BahaySkwela, our first project.

BahaySkwela combines "Bahay" meaning "house or home" with "Eskwela," which translates to "school." Through a series of free virtual sessions and predominantly conducted live on Facebook, we delivered storytelling, arts and crafts, dance, music, yoga, sports, and martial arts classes. Leveraging our network of teachers, corporate professionals, and enthusiasts, we successfully organized over 50 sessions throughout the extended school break. Despite the restrictions on outdoor learning and play, these initiatives helped keep the children engaged.

Over the course of three years, we have continually partnered with private companies, NGOs, and individuals in diverse communities. Together, we have implemented projects and initiatives aimed at promoting education and altruism.
